The Wonder of Discovery”

Ernest Thompson Seton, born in England in 1860, was a prolific artist, illustrator, conservationist and one of the founding pioneers of Boy Scouts of America.  Seton was also the first Chief Scout for BSA in 1910.   

The majority of Seton’s personal art, library, and natural history collection is housed in the museum bearing his name, the Seton Memorial Library , in Cimarron, NM on the Philmont Scout Ranch..  To read and see more about this sculpture in progress, click  here
